Vision
“ Clean water and a healthy ecosystem
within the Pine River Watershed”

The Pine River Watershed Initiative Network (PRWIN) began as a kitchen table group of citizens concerned about the quality of water in the Pine River Watershed. After initial success working with the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority and local stakeholders it became for a short time a committee of the Township of Huron-Kinloss. The support of the Township has been a very important factor in achieving our goals. In February of 2008 the PRWIN again became an independent body and have established a constitution to govern its operation. The PRWIN has charitable status.

Since 2008 with the help of SVCA, Ecoaction, 4H, and landowners, PRWIN has arranged for over 100,000 trees to be planted in the watershed.
